About Nick and Christine

Nick and Christine Kondra are a culinary duo focusing on the coastal cuisine of Nantucket Island. Nick was born in Syracuse NY, finding his love for cooking after a stint in the finance world. Nick has worked for many prestigious kitchens throughout the northeast including Bistro 5 in Medford MA, Straight Wharf Restaurant, Ten Tables in Cambridge, Tavola, and Amis in Philadelphia. After meeting Christine at Straight Wharf, Nick moved closer to family and began to establish himself in the Philadelphia culinary scene.

Christine grew up just a few miles away from Cornerstone working in restaurants from a very young age. She spent a portion of her career in bio-pharmaceuticals before coming back to her true passion. Christine moved to Nantucket and quickly established herself as a private chef. She created custom culinary experiences including The ACK Experience and Farm to Fork. Her love of Nantucket and the coastal cuisine led her to open Cornerstone 6 years ago with her husband Nick. Today Cornerstone is an excellent representation of true farm to table cooking. Their detailed approach to seasonality makes this main line restaurant one worth the journey!
